Tescos Credit Card application - HELP

Evening all
Well I applied today for a tescos credit card working on the basis of money supermarket recommending it on my credit score being good (strange as experian says its fair)
anyway I completed the application form, and at the end it said close window after I had pressed submit, well it didnt give me an answer, let alone anything else. Is this normal? I am very confused.
