You obviously have a good understanding of the law, with 'aquaintances' like yours presumably you need to.0 -
Argos doesn't guarantee delivery in a specific timeframe, just a 'usually within' guideline based on expected deliveries to the distribution centres from the manufacturers, sometimes expected deliveries do not arrive and so they may give a date they expect to despatch from and then find they cannot. Equally they cannot give you a specific date until they have the stock in case they cannot fulfil that date. If you are unhappy with your wait you can easily get a refund instore.
Also, if you purchased the products in store, even if they are home delivery items the distance selling regulations do not apply.0
