I was on the bus and i only just noticed this bingo.
The shutter was opened but it looked dark.

I am going to call in after xmas.

I think it's already open. I live literally 200 yards away so I'll take a look next time I'm passing.

A friend was waiting on it opening, she goes to a different one.
Its to do with the alcohol licence it seems. Though they don't sell it people bring in carry outs and they therefore need a licence. Its taking longer than they expected and should be sometime in January, before their request is heard.

Lol, me too. passed by on bus again today. (I get of just outside post office) and shutters were down.

Yes, but not good news. Legal wrangling and crap means it's not going to open, final straw was planning permission i think

So they spent all this money fixing the place up, refit and then find out they cannot open.

I don't do bingo, went once hated it. But still sounds strange not getting the plans etc worked out before starting refit.
