Sending over 2kg parcel overseas

Options
As far as I can tell from the Royal Mail website, its not possible to send packages over 2kg overseas. Can anyone confirm that?

I need to send a 2.3 kg package to the Netherlands as cheaply as possible, does anyone have any recommendations?

If they are over 2kg they have to go parcelforce, still available at the post office. I think there`s a link to Parcelforce from the Royal mail website.
  • Is the package one item, or can it be split into 2 parcels because it would still work out cheaper than sending one 2.3kg parcel by Parcelforce, as my mum found out once when she was posting items to me in the Middle East :o

Yep found that in the end, but more expensive than Pharos International.

Can't split unfortunately. Really annoying the postage is so much as this is an RMA and I could buy a replacement myself for not too much more than the postage cost!

Sorry for my ignorance but what is an RMA?
You can send parcels over 2kg if they are printed papers.

Always worth getting a quote from Pharos International.
