lol I'm pretty sure my OH wouldn't have had those colours in the kitchen either!

I think I would go for dark units and light walls. I've got a thing about white kitchen units, I really don't like them.

My new kitchen is black, white and grey and I love it.

    Good luck in deciding.

I was swaying more towards the dark units - a) because my new washing machine is black and b) because I have 2 rather large dogs I can imagine the units will become really scruffy really quickly.

Not that I don't plans on washing the front of the units but you get what I mean! I would have to wash them every 10 minutes with my 2 dogs!

Could I be cheeky and ask for a photo? I am looking for inspiration! :)

Photos here, you are not cheeky at all.

The ceilings are now up, just need the coving up now. The cooker, hob and hood aren't connected yet. Fingers crossed they will be soon lol.

You can just about see the floor in the top pic, it's very dark grey (near black).

Excuse the mess, we aren't living in there at the moment. We're living in a mobile home in the garden. lol Not for much longer I hope!!!:j

Wow! you just put my kitchen to shame! haha.

That is a gorgeous kitchen - I am jealous!! I love the silver cupboards - reminds me of Jurassic Park :) my favourite film lol.

Thanks for sharing - although my kitchen won't look anywhere near as nice as yours it will still be a fun project to work on!
