Mobile Phone Insurance

Well how stupid are we......
Just lately watching Martin Lewis on the T.V. has inspired me to check all our outgoings, direct debits and insurances and stuff. Well in one foul sweep I have saved 1,000 which I am well pleased with.
Anyway on our joint bank account are 2 items for Policy Admin Services totally 15.00. I rang the bank and the girl I spoke to thought it was to do with bank services HSBC so gave me a number to ring. I was told no it isnt a bank thing, so I have trawled through all my paperwork and found nothing actually I do remember checking this before and just assumed it was a bank amount for collecting DD and stuff.
So I thought the quickest way to find out is to cancel the direct debits.
Yep in 3 days we had a phone call today. Policy admin services offer Mobile phone insurance, and apparently my husband has been paying this amount since 2004 for a phone through Phone 4 U x 2. Well he has no knowledge of agreeing this as our mobile phones are covered fully on our home insurance so why would we want it.
So my question is can we claim the payments back? We have paid over 1,000 so much for me saving anything.
I was really annoyed about this but the girl on the phone just said they would now cancel for me. But that is not good enough, we never asked for this insurance and certainly have no paperwork for it.
Any advise or just swallow this loss? Blooming heck you have to watch everything you do someone is after your money.....
