How do I connect TV-Vid-DVD etc

Although I'm pretty handy and can wire up and run a recording studio, for some reason I cannot get my head around wiring up our Panasonic TV system. The manual is not helpful.
In particular the VIDEO is problematic - it has 2 scart ports but I seem to want to have 3, but thats not possible.
Need to be able to record to video whilst watching whatever on TV - digital / analogue - a DVD etc.
It all works as I have it configured now, but the video recorder records static white noise so is clearly not wired correctly.
I don't know where to take the main aeriel feed firstly - presumably into the freeview box first.
But then which order to wire up devices in.
Ok so here's what we have to connect;
+ Freeview box
+ TV (has 2 scart ports - AV1 and 2) Cathode Ray Tube analogue TV (in recording world we all went in for digital stuff in the 90-'s for pro audio but many are returning to old gear - so I've been in no hurry to get a digital plasma etc).
+ DVD
+ Video (yes I still like good ole vid)
+ Sound amplifier (surround system)
We still watch analogue TV just as much as digital.
The TV features AV1, 2 and 3 and to my thinking, AV1 is for digital TV (non AV being for analogue).
I imagine this thread is not going to wrok as we will be talking at cross purposes - it's hard to explain what I mean with piccies.

Assuming your freeview box has two RF sockets then the order to connect your aerial lead would be Aerial.....Freeview box.....VHS......TV.
Scart Freeview box...VHS AV in.....VHS AV out....TV
DVD Scart directly to TV.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
