a quick google found this info

right click the shortcut on the desktop and select 'properties' then select the 'compatability' tab. and set it to Windows 98, then if that doesn't work try running it as administrator in windows 98 compatibility mode.

might not work but it's worth a try.
  • Apparently it depends on the version of Vista you have. I've had my laptop for nearly two years and I've tried everything I can find and it still doesn't work!!! I was hoping by now that there would be some kind of patch but there doesn't seem to be.

I picked this up in a bargain bin and had it running no trouble under vista not that long ago.

If memory serves playing about with the compatibility options should sort you out :)

Try using a front-end for Dosbox, it should make life much easier. I haven't used Dosbox for ages and the front-end I used to use is no longer developed. There is a list of available ones at http://www.dosbox.com/download.php?main=1. I'd probably start with http://dfendreloaded.sourceforge.net/
