Childcare Grant. Am I Entitled??

I am a single mother of two young children under 3. I receive Income Support and Child Tax Credits. I have recently returned to college full time. At the moment, my mum looks after my children but she can't do it for much longer. My college discretionary fund for child care is empty. I have found information for the Childcare Grant but am unsure whether I can apply. The site mentions higher education and university but not the word college . Surely i must be entitled to some help towards childcare costs but its not easy to find

Which course are you studying, and what qualification will it give you?0

ILEX Certificate for Legal Secretaries - Level two. I can gain either a certificate or a diploma depending on the standard of work.0

No childcare grant I'm afraid for this course. I'd suggest contacting the college for assistance.0

Hi Taiko,
I'veSeen you have helped so many people calculate eligibility, you have been so helpful, hope they appreciate it.
I wonder if you can help me with the thresholds for childcare grant? Or alternatively give me an idea what i would be entitled to towards childcare if anything.
Basically my husband is a full time student, just completed the forms for ccg and had it approved - i go back to work at the end of the month after maternity leave and we now have 3 children. We currently get working tax credits and child tax credits aswell.
I know they took my income into account which is low @ only £15,500. We also have a mortgage to pay @ £600 per month, the secured loan @ £450 per month. council tax is £117 per month.
Oh and childcare costs will be £260 per week
The query is that i will possibly be in a new role earning upto £25k per year before tax. How will this affect our eligibility for the ccg? And if you know about the tax credits aswell please?0
