Been with adjudicator for 2 months now after 13 month wait.

And here was my thinking this was going to be easy!

My complaint was originally opened in July 2009 (a year and 3 months ago) and got to the adjudicator in August 2010. It's now been close to 2 months and the adjudicator has said that he's not expecting to provide any recommendations or statements for a further four weeks.

Apparently though, the adjudicator will be calling me again later as he wants me to give testimony about some of the aspects of my complaint - has anyone else had this? What does it involve?

All in all I'm very fed up and frustrated that this is taking so long. I just want it to be over either way!

    Hiya

I know it can be very frustrating after waiting a long time, my very first one which was resolved in 2007 taken up to 14-15 months, and the backlogs have also grown more since then.

Your adjudicator wants to go over your complaint and make sure nothing is amiss I expect, and if you have any further information to add before he continues. He will then tell you what they will be doing, this is going from my own experience, so not to worry.

Hope it will be the case - once your adjudicator been in touch that it means there is a light to this case, fingers crossed.;)
