Hi

Ive been a customer of A.O.C. since the 1st issue came out. I cancelled the subriscription not sure of the exact date but, paid by dd so can easily find out. They are caliming I owe them another 13 pounds. I am disputing this, they want to charge me 5 pounds extra and are passing it on to a debt collection agency.

I have wrote to them and emailed them on numerous occasions and tbh its like talking to idots. I asked them what issues the 13 pounds was for and they threw the question back at me and said what issues did you receive. I feel sure they do not have a clue as to what they are doing. Is there anything I can do about this? They claimed that they are charging me the extra 5 pounds for failure to pay the final bill. But, I have been in contact with them and honestly do not think I owe this amount.

The invoice is dated october I cancelled the subscription months ago. Im going to ring my bank and find out exactly how many payments I made. I last received issue 12 after which the subscription was cancelled.

Any advice on how to deal with them would be greatfully appreicated.

Jojo
Proud to be dealing with my debts:j

Ask in writting what issues they are disputing, until then if they send debt collectors you will be calling the police.Did you sign anything, read terms and condtions as sometimes they say "On accpeting d/d you are accpeting our terms and conditions..."they can charge 13 for the rest of the issues but not thre £5

Or call bluff..for £13 it isnt worth the hassle.
