Fidelity users - Portfolio Performance added to accounts

For anyone else who uses Fidelity for investing, I was pleased to see that the functionality to calculate portfolio performance has now been added to accounts
Starting to think that I must have influencing superpowers, as I was thinking just a few days ago that they should add it!
While it's usually apparent which funds are doing well/are lagging, it's nice to have it in black and white.

Could you explain where this functionality is on the Fidelity accounts as I don't see it.
Thanks.0 -
I just logged in and noticed the banner under my Portfolio Value figure:Portfolio performance now available for your ISA and Investment funds

That probably explains it.
I use Fidelity through my adviser - he makes all the decisions. I can view my accounts online but I don't have that section.0 -
Sorry about that - I'm a new investor, so DIY seemed the way to go until I've got a decent pot to worry about

This feature doesn't work correctly on my account.
I pay in £100 each month and have been doing so since 2004. Total paid in 2004-2009 = 6*1200 plus £600 this year = £7800.
Current value = £9380
The portfolio performance calculates
Amount invested £5518.23
Account valuation £9380.72
Annualised return 11.53%
Not sure where it gets the invested figure from!!0 -
I would read their FAQ/help segment - it deals with common problems/miscalculations/definitions.
Mine look fine, but my acc is only 6 mths old.Annualised return 11.53%
Not bad

He shouldnt make the decisions, he should advise. Sometimes you may disagree with where he wants YOUR money to go.MSE is a religion and the Arms is its Temple:money:

I pay him to make the decisions. If I wanted to make the decisions I'd do it myself.Sometimes you may disagree with where he wants YOUR money to go.
He always runs it past me before doing anything. If I disagree I will tell him and we'll discuss it.0 -
edinburgher - Are you investing directly in Fidelity's own funds rather than using Fidelity FundsNetwork via an IFA/discount broker?edinburgher wrote: »I just logged in and noticed the banner under my Portfolio Value figure...".....where it is corrupt, purge it....."0
