Ebay item broke the first time I used it :(

It was a new item from a business seller. It cost £6.99 with free p&p. Should I contact the seller or can I only do that if it was broken on receipt? I used it correctly and didn't do anything silly to break it.
Thanks in advance.
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

  • just contact the seller for a refund or replacement.
  • Wonder if it was the same thing I bought for 99p plus £6.00 postage that broke when I first used it.. Seller told me to contact the manufacturer. Charming.
  • I've messaged the seller saying the item does not work and have asked for a refund. I've also sent a copy to my email address. I'll let you know the outcome.

  • The seller immediately refunded in full and told me to throw away the item. I was worrying about nothing!

    I've been Money Tipped!
One of my buyers left me neutral feedback as the item broke on the first go.

Didn't contact me to tell me or let me rectify the situation.

Most business sellers are good ones OP. Glad it was easily sorted.
