Incidently, the couple of photo's of the headphones that appear towards the start of this thread are misleading I think, I've seen another photo of the phones that are supposed to be included in this deal and they look a much cheaper and inferior set than those. Still, for a quid you can't go wrong eh?
Hi there
It was me who posted the links to the models- I work in the Hi-Fi industry and after briefly reading the post that the head-phones being given away were 1) worth £30 and 2) usually recommended in reviews, I jumped to my own conclusion about what would be given away, so my apologies for that people, I feel really bad about it now
I have noticed a post on the magazine giveaways thread on the site where the poster has said what was in his confirmation email and posted a picture- the link is here...

If his picture is correct then they are the PMX40 neckband headphones which are worth less than £20

Still not bad for a freebie though!0 -

yep, that was my post. The email specifically said the headphones were worth £30You get all this:
3 issues of Rip & Burn for £1
SAVE a massive 30% on further issues
Pay just £6.95 every three issues by Direct Debit after your trial
FREE headphones worth £30
In the unlikely event you don’t want to continue your subscription after the first three issues – just write to us and cancel. We won’t charge you further and the trial issues and headphones are yours to keep. What have you got to lose?
If the headphones are actually only worth £18, is this some kind of false advertising?0 -
For those that are wondering I believe these are the headphones included:

There probably is a store somewhere that sells them for £30, hence why they can claim £30. Anyway a £19 saving is still very good and they've gotta be better than those rubbishy earplugs that manufacturers insist on putting in even on MP3 players costing £100's.Alex Jones0 -
..that there was a magazine offers thread - doh! I'm still new quite new after all.
And those are the headphones

I took up this offer and also the one for Stuff, which the guy on the phone asked if I wanted (3 for a £1 again). So thats 3 mags of Rip and Burn, 1 set of headphones and 3 mags of Stuff - all for £2 - excellent!Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0

I've signed up online to this offer twice!!!
Once for myself and once for hubby. No problems at all!!When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -
I also ordered both Rip & burn and Stuff.
In the T's and C's it says to write to them to cancel. Is that really neccesary ?
What happens if you cancel at your bank only ?Never buy a stupid dwarf -
Its not big and its not clever.0 -

When you cancel your direct debit with your bank, the bank will automatically inform the company involved. You can write to the magazine company as well, if you want extra peace of mind.
