Morning all
out at the crack of dawn (felt like) re hanging all yesterday's washing on the line. had it been rainy I would have had to use the TD - already ran the towels through it on Thursday night because I knew I would have mounds but I don't want to use it if I don't have to (see my sig)
Have ironed one lot and stuck the maiden in front of a sunny, open window to speed airing. Sun dazzling on the front - unfortunately, in winter, the back garden doesn't really get any, and that's where the line is. Some of the washing's in the sun, though
oh and I have changed a word on my e bay listing - (Thanks Lamewolf - it says ASSORTED now :rotfl:)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hello everyone, :hello:
I must admit I've been a bit rubbish at flying recently. All thanks to being on holiday for 2 weeks, with a week before that that was stressful at work which meant the house got quite cluttered, then the 2 weeks we've been back have also been busy and tiring and have involved seeing family on the weekend and meant little flying could be done. So yesterday was spent getting the place tidier, though there are some hotspots that need sorting, as in a couple of rooms I just put everything onto one pile for sorting later, but I'm now feeling like I can try to clean properly again...not that I haven't done any cleaning, the kitchen and bathroom have been done and the vacuum's been run round a couple of times, and I feel like I've washed enough clothes to wear for half a year. Last load's going now and the basket is empty, hurrah! Until DH gets home from cricket nets and fills it again! I am scared to think about the ironing mountain range I need to climb.:eek::eek:
I need to sort out a plan for today which I think is going to go:
Peg washing out (WM finishes in 5)
HHC
Lunch
An hour on work
HH walk with DH
HH more on work if I don't get it all done in an hour
Washing in
HHI
HHsorting one pile of paperwork
By which time I think I'll need to start thinking about starting dinner...
Right off to sort that washing!
Hope everyone's ok, and sending hugs and vibes, and sticks and spoons where needed. I'm afraid I haven't read back and am unlikely to be able to or I'll never get any of the above done!

One load of washing on the line, another about to go in the machine. Bins emptied, recycling sorted, DW emptied and refilled, downstairs hoovered. About to mop downstairs and hoover up. Anything else will be a bonus. Hope to get some work work done for a couple of hours, then get out into the garden when it has defrosted a bit!0

Morning all,
Glad to see things seem a little more positive today seafarers wife. Sending supportive vibes your way, and hoping OH's idiot bosses get their acts together and let him stay home.
Well so far this morning, Moon and I have been to test-drive a Ford Fusion (neither of us were very impressed, so won't be getting one of those), Moon has left to go shooting, and I've had a cup of coffee whilst decluttering the very messy desk.
I couldn't be bothered to put all of the washing away yesterday that Moon had so kindly left in a huge pile by the side of my bed instead of putting things away, so I've still got that to do. I've also got to empty the DW as Moon has kindly left that for me to do too (although he did say sorry about that before he left). So ... is anyone up for a HHC 11.45-12.15 if you're not all busy doing the Sunday roasts? I'm also going to try to utilise some of the sunshine we have here, by putting on a white's load (going to test out the new fabric conditioner I bought on offer yesterday - Fairy almond and honey).
Hope everyone is well.

ok in the last 50 mins i have:-
got dressed (not showered but its a start)
fed and watered the cat
load of black washing in
hoovered the hall
wiped all upstairs doors - used babywipes!
wiped all the paintwork on the landing - again babywipes
made my bed so it looks pretty - will strip it next week
went round the hall carpet with my finger and a pack of babywipes - i have cream carpets and was fed up seeing a black outline so ran my finger along it and OMG it was disgusting.
went round a quarter of my room carpet with finger and babywipes
sorted out my ironing pile
brought my ironing pile downstairs to do
did the shredding.
will update my mega list later.
