Morning ladies. Do we have any gents on this lovely thread?

I am well and truly in again this week. I normally hate housework with a passion but I almost enjoyed it last week! I do like the satisfaction of crossing off a list but the support is great here too, thanks everyone.

Living is still looking great after last week so should be easy today which is good as BIL is visiting us. Not seen him for ages as he lives 300 miles away.

I will have a HHC in the spare room though as I never got round to that yesterday, concentrated on the kitchen instead.

    Morning all

Sarah Joanne sometimes we have flyboys not often tho

Children deposited at school (ds1 wasn't asleep last night lol) washer is on, drier is on, dishwasher just finished, bin bag of clutter deposited in relevant bins well you could say I was on a roll but it's coffee time :) then I'll keep plodding on.

Next 'steps' towards a more organised me

Clear sofas in living room (you can sit on 2 seats of 5 due to piles of junk)
Clear coffee table so you can put a cup on it
Throw another bag of parp out
Put cushion covers (the dog has been on them and they are cream and black grrr) in washer
    Discuss with DP about 'motivation'
Make DP and I dentist appointments
Get DPs grant application for club together
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Hello all, Last week got rather manic at the end so apologies for deserting the last thread. Many thanks to FCC, I'm in again this week.

Yet again I don't have DS2 in school he has upset tummy so this is week 6 with kids at home. He was man of the match at football yesterday. He literally wore the shirt of the striker he was marking. the striker was so narked off with him that he wouldn't shake his hand at the end of the game. DS2's team won 5-2:j

DS3 and DD2 have Anthony Browne the Children's Laureate coming to school today to open the new library. DS3's definition of the Children's Laureate is a lorry that ate a lot of children's books. :rotfl:

My big news is that I have a job interview on Thursday morning. I haven't told anyone except for DH (and you my faithful flylady friends). It's just for 8 hours a week. I haven't got a clue what to wear.

Hugs/congrats to all in need. I'm going to my MIL's to cook christmas cakes now.

    Morning all

am unexpectedly 'off' due to the course I was to go on having been cancelled - the venue were told at 4pm on Friday - we got no message; I found out when I got there. Phoned in work - cue grumble from boss who hopes that the supply cover will still be paid for out of central budget - well I don't know and it's nothing to do with the venue so I suggested he ask the organisers ...then he asked me to go in...then we thought it all through and I will stay home today but work all day Friday instead - much more sensible as I was going in then (well the afternoon) to cover for colleague anyway, we had done an informal 'swap'. Hope this is OK with her but suspect it will be; she's going to a wedding. So I have a washload in and loads of bitty jobs to do. One thing I have managed to do is order my repeat prescription.

erm - I wouldn't try ready brek as an oats substitute, due to the fact that it's processed - the texture will be all wrong.

    Antony Browne - WOW!

    So I'll be back later!

Morning campers, thank you to FCC for the lists and the encouragement :) Definately well appreciated :)

Not sure what happened to me last week, I think I was in avoidance mode. I did everything else except do housework and wander back to this thread..bad I know :( Anyway this week I intend to keep up with my "flying" and life in general :)

I'm sorry if I forgot anyones birthday or congratulations etc last week. Please accept my belated wishes :)

Anyway I think I am going to make today a new start - wonder how many times I have said that..lol. And that also includes getting up and getting dressed at a reasonable time so that I actually have time to do things in the day, and not lose my whole day procrastinating on absolutely nothing..lol

I have a couple of things to add to my lists, which I know I haven't been keeping up with so I am going to start them again today. Ooh DH will be pleased..back to normal cooking and not "pot luck" lol.

    Hugs to everyone, especially Toots
