Back from shopping etc. Funny how not all towns are the same isn't.

Need to try to find the screw which was missing from the trumpet but they swopped it anyhow (Lacquer fault PenPen but it was fortunate as when we got home I wished we'd purchased the other one as it made a better sound although is a little larger to hold)

PenPen did you see Little Shakespeares picutes on facebook? Actually not sure I have you as a friend

Just going to put shopping away - halloween treats bought plus random items like cat biscuits/lovely new baking sheets and a wee xmas pressie for DH - then it'll be school pick up time.

Well bathroom sparkling, hall and stairs clear and just need hoovering (another albatross, hoovering the stairs urgh), and even decluttered the bottom of my wardrobe and the shoe box which lives in Ds's room as have 2 charity bags which are getting collected tomorrow. Got rid of about 20 pairs of shoes :o Think I have a hoarding problem there - two pairs were shoes I wore to school, or at least 6th form, which was well over 10 years ago! I can't have worn them recently, so hopefully someone else will make use of them. I failed a bit though as someone gave me a load of hand me downs for Ds1 and there was a jumper I didn't like, but he saw me put it in the bag and fell in love with it and is now wearing it! And what is it with charity bags? I can't get to the charity shop easily as there isn't one very local and I don't drive so I usually wait for a bag or leaflet. Sometimes I'll be waiting weeks but yesterday I got 2 within half an hour of each other! And both for "reputable" charities too - breast cancer care and the NSPCC - so divided my gibble up equally!

Need to unload and reload WM and TD, put some laundry away and S&S the living room, then I'll have a look at what's for tonights tea (can't remember so if it's something needs defrosting it'll be beans on toast....) then I might even be able to start a photo album for DS2 before 6.30 when OH is due home :)

    Off to update my list...

Oh, and I also managed to squeeze my lardy bum into some pre-pregnancy jeans :j they're still bigger than my usual but I'm getting there...
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

    WW 37lb (2 STONE 9lbs! :j ) lost since July, 11tybillion to go...

They're for beating the Black Dogs that slink in when you're feeling a bit down. Personally I think I kick up the bum with one of these would be more effective, what do you think?

Thanks, and yes they would be very effective :rotfl:

I just made Twink's hobnobs for the first time. They are yummy!
