Broadband problem

I have Talktalk broadband with a wireless modem/ router.

I can access the internet fine on my laptop but my desktop PC cannot get onto the internet. Connection seems fine, signal is excellent but when I go onto the internet it says server not found.

I have also tries another modem and i am having the same problem.

Could this be something to do with settings on my PC?

Any help would be appreciated

how are you connecting the Pc to the router ??

cable or wireless ??

Are you able to use any programs on the internet, i.e messenger or email or are you totally netless ?

I should have asked which operating system you use, if you use XP then you might want to try this Microsoft diagnosis tool (Validation Required).
