I am sorry that you haven't found E.ON helpfull, especially when you are going through a stressful situation.

Your account will be closed on the day of your bankruptcy and a new account will be set up, E.ON will then send a message to the key for your meter, when you top up the key and insert this in to your meter it will remove the debt.

I would contact E.ON again and ask for the weekly debt payments be reduced, explain your situation and the benefits you receive.
