You appear to have a cash flow problem. Such problems are a major headache of small business. Is it likely that the car seller will accept a credit card ? If not you will have to pay with funds at your disposal. Balance transfering 0% credit limits via an Egg card is one way of obtaining capital in a current account.
I would sell the £6K car first and then buy what was available rather than risk the debt, credit searches and the delay of getting credit products. One of the biggest costs of car ownership is depreciation, so the more you wait after selling the cheaper your future purchase will be! Feel free to disagree and elaborate if you feel it is worth your time.

Its a rare car and wont be around for long...
If the debt is cleared after a few weeks, I would presume that would look goo don my credit file as I was paying the debt off?0 -
It can take two weeks to a month to get a suitable credit card. What credit cards do you have already ? An alternative might be a Cahoot flexible loan. The interest they claim is around 7% per annum (0.6% a month )and if it is only for a few weeks then the cost is probably below £20. The rate thay give you is based on your credit rating.
