Tax Credits/circumstances changing

Hello all,
I am currently working part time, my partner full time. We have a 1 year old son who attends nursery 2.5 days a week. We do not qualify for WTC as our estimated income for 2010/11 is just over the limit. We do get £128 weekly CTC which just about covers childcare costs. We were recently given notice by our landlord that we had to leave our house by the end of October. As we live a distance away from both our families and friends, and are expecting a new baby in January we decided it would be better in the long term to move back to our home town, stay with my partners mum and take a few months to have the baby, save a bit of money and start again.
I will be on SMP from the beginning of Nov, which I am very grateful for, and obviously CB will increase a little. My partner is already looking for work, but in the meantime will have to go on JSA. I understand our CTC will obviously reduce massively, but will we be entitled to anymore from them? I'm a little confused as we will be living with his mum - will her income be taken into account,or will we just be seen as lodgers? (we will of course be paying rent) And our estimated income for 2010/11 was based on his continuing to work full time and me not getting pregnant again,so it will drop under the threshold - BUT he won't be working and I'll be on Mat Leave...so confusing!
Please don't think I'm trying to screw as much money as I can out of the system - believe me, I would far rather stay in our home and not have to make any of these changes.
Any help really appreciated
xx

you should notify tax credits of your new circumstances and they will recalculate your claim, you should get the maximum ctc for your child.
Your partner will not be able to claim wtc until he is employed again and you could be eligible for some income support0 -
Wont get any income support, its for lone parents/disabled/carers. Not of which apply to the couple0

Thank you both for your replies, we're hoping my partner won't have to go down the JSA route but obviously it's there as a safety net if needed.
Thanks again! x0
