PPI Reclaim Companies

Hi Guys, I know this is going to sound wimpy but I do not feel I can go through the pressure of reclaiming PPI's myself. I am with a dept management company having got into financial problems due to a marriage breakdown. This has caused a lot of stress and I do not feel strong enough to fight the 'big boys'.

Does anyone know of a reputable company that will take this on for me? I have looked at so many sites, which caused even more stress as it looks a minefield to me.

I do not want to repeat the stupid mistakes I made by taking the loans in the first place.

Really appreciate your help guys.

    Hi and welcome

Sorry but we are unable to give names or even recommend using a claims company, basically lots on here have had that much hassle, and some are also still waiting as much as 2 years or even longer.

Its a pretty straight forward reclaim, and only a matter of completing a reclaiming questionnaire.
By the time you use a claims company - you may as well have a go yourself.;)
Its all free on this site and claims companies will charge you at the end of the reclaim, when its rightfully all your money.

So check the below info through of Martin's guidelines, then complete the questionnaire and give your reasons to reclaim, keep copies of all you send and receive, in case you need to refer to it again later.

You actually pursue the ones who set up and arranged your policy from the start, they normally have 8 weeks - but they may request for more time, also due to backlogs, but its rather straight forward really.
Its only also a matter of asking for free help from this site as well.

    Hope this helps, good luck.

Hi there, it only takes a few minutes of your time and it will be worth it in the end.As di says a lot on here have had nightmares with these cos.If you want to you could just write in your own words that you were mis sold this ppi because, and give your reasons, and you want your ppi paid to date back and (if the loan is still running) the loan reset.Just put your account number and post it recorded and then waot.It really is easy and no one can do this process any faster or get you more compensation than you can do your self and you wont charge your self 25% plus vat!! Please give it a go you will get all the help on here for free.X

    Hi there

Of course as amersall says, you can write a letter in your own words if you prefer.;)

You still need to fill out the PPI questionnaire whether you do it yourself or use a claims company. You are not saving any time by using a claims company. Plus, you are reducing the chances of success.

If you have had debt written off then any redress payment is put towards that debt first with only any surplus coming to you. So you should not use a claims company if you are in that position. Same if you are in arrears as the money goes towards the debt. In both cases the claims company will want to be paid by you on the full amount of the redress even if you dont benefit personally from a penny of it.
