woohoo.....car's got a new MoT....cost about £38 all told....not bad for a £300-odd banger?

LL is paying for a bathroom redecoration too....wooptidoo....means I needn't bother cleaning it until the work's done? [wots the point..the workpeeps will only rip it all out...]

now....two whole months of not having to pay my council tax....woohootoo?

Opened an online savings account today..not too sure whether it'll go through...since the box where one puts one's email address wouldn't accept all of mine.....there was a limit on characters....and mine's too long for it....

turned heating off today.....quite warm out...the birds and things are all confused..

reminder....when I wash the car in future....do both sides!

Sounds like a busy day Alastair. I hardly have the heating on as I live in a new flat and it's always boiling!

Who did you open the savings account with? I have one with the post office. I opened it post br but before it was showing on my credit file so not sure if that may have made a difference.

yup, it's with Post Office....strangely, Post Office are running it with the Irish Bank..........does that suggest a sense of foreboding?
