There's so much of this going on at the moment.

Haven't really kept up with the phone thing but I paid £150 I think to have a bt line put into my flat as it had never had one. That was on a normal tariff.

Its a really tough one - it's like the prepay gas and electric costing more. On the one hand there's the higher cost of running the service but this conflicts with the social aspect that many of these customers are least able to afford it.

Thought I might have seen a thing on mse utilities about landline; not sure if it's any good but I'm with virgin pre br;)
