Nvidia and 2nd display

My TV has a d-sub adapter to connect from my PC. I have used Nvidia display properties to set up the 2nd monitor.
I'm basically trying to watch a divx file through Media Player on the TV. As soon as I switch to the 2nd display(TV), I lose mouse control on the main display(PC) and can't switch over the full screen mode. If I switch to full screen mode first, I can't get at the Nvidia properties to switch over to the TV.
Obviously missing something silly. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

OK sorted now with the help of my son.
I didn't realise that I could drag the mouse over to the TV display. I had tried to drag it off the left hand side of the PC monitor and it wouldn't go. For some reason I didn't try dragging it off the right hand side - when I did the mouse pointer appeared on the TV.
Told you it was something silly!0
