I don't think it is me?
I have only just made the jump to a decent phone, a Nokia 5230. The intent was to see what apps were out there, and have a play. All seemed relatively simple if the app was on Ovi, but if it is elsewhere, I am having troubles.
Yes, I managed to ownload a scanner, and thought that was the B all and end all, but no. I scan the barcode off other sites, but for some reason cannot get the apps to the phone.
Can anyone give me any hints or tips, or forums that might help please?

Barcode???? What?
Depends on the app and where you are getting them from. A lot of them might not be compatible with the model of the phone. Others might not work because they require signing (authenticated to be used specifically for your phone).
ps - What do you mean cannot get them to the phone?0 -
Isn't this phone a Symbian 9.4 operating system?
It sounds like your talking Android OS language with barcodes etc.jakswan .co. uk Just me droning on about Gadgets and the Wife, two kids, massive mortgage, yes it is boring:p0 -
Ah, I thought Symbian and Android were the same? Evidently not. That is probably why I can't get the Android ones working, like a lot of the Google apps?O would some power the giftie gie us to see ourselves as others see us.
