Where can I find cheap curtains?

I am trying to sell my house but the curtains in the lounge are bright red and I think let the room down. I want to get some cheap curtains (either beige/chocolate/mocha) but don't want to spend more than about £50 if possible. There are two windows though, one of which is full length.

Any ideas of where to look?

Thanks very much

If you live anywhere near Whitely Village shopping outlet, I picked up some bargain fully lined pencil pleat 90x74 curtains for just over £30 last week, reduced from over £100! :)
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Wilkinsons TJ Hughes or Textile Direct might be worth looking at.

Dunelm have a lot of creams & browns at the moment.
  • I have used this website:

    http://www.curtains-2go.co.uk/index.htm

They will send you fabric samples free of charge.

I have also had a few curtain bargains from a local charity shop (full length velvet curtains for £10 a pair).

Charity shops often have bargains in curtains! Or there's always IKEA for neutral sorts of shades. Au Naturale often have good deals on the lightweight cotton or voile type curtains.

Boyes if you have one where you live. They are great for curtains.

could you just dye your curtains to make them a better colour. I know that they're red, so you won't be able to get them to cream, but you might get a burgundy or navy. You can get washing machine dyes from Woolies which work well.
