On the Mio P350 GPS settings I have selected GPS program port com 4 and gps hardware port com 2 and board rate 4800 (manage Gps automatically recommended ticked)
On medion navteq software I have set GPS type receiver as other receiver, com port com 2 colum gps_com and board 4800.
I have tried different combinations... still with no luck!0 -
How long have you left it to detect satelites.
I think it can take quite a while the first time 20 minutes or half an hour depends where you are0 -
What is the actuall name of the software you are using... ??0

A possibly daft question, but are you trying to get a signal outside? If you are trying in your house, then unless you have sirfstar4 chipset then you wont get any signal indoors.
If you are trying in the car, does your car have a heat reflective windscreen (not just tinted but a coating that prevents radio active waves getting through the glass)? If you do, then you will need a re-radiating antenna, or try postioning the GPS receiver behind the rear view mirror 'cos there is often a spot there that allows signals through. Alternatively try mounting the antenna in the rear view mirror.
Hope this helps.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

Medion Navigator 4.4 is an old edition... You might just have problems with it as when some of the Micromaxx, Medion PDA's that were sold in Kwiksave they came with different versions because both didnt support the same software...
If memory is correct.. The Medion PDA only supported Navigator 4.4 and wouldnt run the navigator 5 that was bundled with the Micromaxx version. (although a GPS flash upgrade sorted this). but Micromaxx would run 4.4... Also both versions have no problem with Navigon Navigator (medion navigator is just a cut down version of this). or any other Navigator software (I-Go, TomTom 5 and 6, co-pilot)0
