What cables are you likely to recieve with a freeview box?

  • depends where you buy, i guess- new ones MAY come with a scart, to connect to tv, and perhaps an aerial lead..

    but dont count on it!

    these readily available from any electrical shop, though.
    Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
    Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)

    It depends really, the ones we get at work vary alot, some come with no cables and some come with a scart lead but they are cheap ones, if unsure id check the box to see if it says if 1 isnt included or ask the sales assistant

    a scart lead is cheap anyway,

    are ariel leads really needed these days as 1 type we have at work works without an ariel lead

    - anywhere between none, and an un-guessable number depending on which freeview box.

    - tell the group which precise box and we will have a look for you !

    - list a random dozen or so because you have not decided yet, and maybe you should wait till you have .. .. decided my friend

    Yeah none or 1 cable for each connector type on the box, and maybe some scart to phono jacks, my cheapo box had a scart in it.
