Done a Laptop rebuild... have a couple of quirks...

I just managed a rebuild of my laptop but have a couple of "funnies"... hope someone can help...
First off, my Sound Card has "disappeared". It's not a volume / mute thing... the system thinks there is no sound card. Am sure I have seend this before and that there is some binary setting somewhere that needs "flipping"...
Secondly, when I scroll my screen up and down, instead of scrolling "smoothly" it is now jumping... i.e. seems to refresh the screen on a scroll down rather than smooth scroll.
Thanks in advance

you probably need to download the soundcard driver from the manufacturers website.
there may be settings for the mouse, under control panel mouse, or install intellipoint drivers from microsoft, or possibly synaptics if you have a touchpadEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
there's a setting for "smooth scrolling" in Internet Explorer, under "tools", "options" and then "Advanced" tab...about half way down you need to tick that boxEx forum ambassador
