Does anyone know where I can get cotton nightie's for my daughter; 3 years old.
The only place I have seen them is in Monsoon at £25.00 each!
Search on the net has only come up with a few expensive items.
Would you sleep in polyester ?
Please help as she doesn't like pyjamas.

Tried and failed on this one a few years ago, I wanted a light cotton nightie for dd going on holiday, they just don't exist. It's all polyester Bratz strappy nighties.

I seem to remember getting her an oversized T shirt then also buying her one when we got to Gibraltar.Bit much to travel all that way though.:rolleyes:Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Boden are good, still expensive but there are 15% discount vouchers on the net with free delivery for first orders.
My Sainsbury's (Tu) had pure cotton pyjama's, I wasn't specifically looking at the time but the might have had nighties as well. Mothercare might have some.0 -
Not sure what size your girl is, but would a cheap ladies cotton t-shirt be ok?
I had awful prickly heat as a child, so could only wear cotton and my Mam struggled to get nighties for me, so I slept in big t-shirts most of the time! I still do actually
Here I go again on my own....0 -
Go for Boden. This is the one they have this winter:

It's pretty pricey but when you look what they go for second hand on ebay you'll realise you'll have most of your money back when it's outgrown:

They are warm, work well with eczema and similar and look so cute.
EDIT: whoops sorry - just realised someone else suggested this very garment! Have to say I've searched for my eczema plagued five year old since she was a baby and never found anything else as good.0 -
Got a couple from instore. Not 100% cotton, but not 100% polyester either, very nice actually and with a cat motif.

Slightly cheaper than Boden is Sleepyheads, they look good quality. When my DD was younger I used to buy her nighties a couple of sizes too large (so they were nearly floor-length!) and let her grow into them. There used to be a great firm called "Kid's Stuff" that made fantastic cotton nighties and PJs that lasted for years - I've searched t'internet but can't find any trace of them.:("Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0
