'Sale' Prices in Schiphol

I regularly use Schiphol (AMS) airport and bought a Guy David watch in their Duty Free Plaza. Watch was stated to be 50% off. A year and several visits later I note that these watches are always stated to be 50% off (and new models appear regularly). Is this legal? I guess that in fact that these !wn brand' watches have never been sold full price. I have written to Schiphol airport and complained.

My word, they're all out tonight!Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
Whatever you buy, whether it is in a sale or not, consider whether you are happy to pay the asking price. Whatever discount offered is irrelevant. All that matters is the price charged.0
