i have recently upgraded my pc, and now have a spare pc monitor (the old fat (CRT?) kind, a scanner and a few other electrical bits and bobs.
all are in full working order, just surplus to requirements. dont want to dump them as i would rather see them benefit someone.
will charity shops accept such items to sell on? im worried that they would not be able to accept them because they are electrical products.
i hope they can take them...i want to see them go to a good cause, but could do without the hassle of freecycle
all advice greatfully received

Well, a charity shop will need to run a check on it, which some of them can't do. Would be worth calling one first.
You might find that a small local charity would be able to use the computer directly.
Check out your yellow pages, and you should be able to find any kind of small local charity.
Good luckfor more info check out www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk . You'll find me there.
