paypal query

I sold an item on my business account last night, they paid via paypal straight away, however I didnt get the usual email from paypal saying payment had been made. The money is in my paypal account,but just wondering if anyone else had had it where a payment email wasnt sent?

Im just being a super worrier as this is the first time Ive sold on the account since I fell foul of a phishing email. My password for ebay and paypal was changed within minutes, so I am probably worrying over nothing:o

I don't read the emails anymore as they are usually wrong (saying not eligible when they are). I do not get an email for each transaction, a handful each day will come without.

I bought something on Thursday night, paid with Paypal, all gone through correctly. Had the shipping message in Ebay, but no email. No sign of Paypal receipt, but it finally appeared last night at 11.30, some 28 hours after the transaction.I'm with Tiscali/Talktalk, and they have finally finished working on their webmail and got it functioning as they have said it was to be. The only problem at the moment seems to be with Paypal/Ebay.

Try your junk folder, a lot of my stuff ends up in there.

I also sell stuff for business purposes and periodically don't get notification when money is sent, not solved it, I just don't rely on the mail but keep an eye on my paypal account for new funds.

I'm having the same problem. No email from paypal came through last night even though the buyer paid up straight away. I double checked my paypal and ebay and the money was there.

Must be a glitch in the system.

I've had this four times in the last couple of days. Never had a problem with it before, so probably just another Paypal hiccup! It's case of keeping watch. It's easy to miss a payment if there;'s loads finishing on one day.
