Student software companies

Software4students are offering Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus for £38.95

Has anyone ever used them before?

Curious to know what checks they do? How do they know you are a genuine student?

There's a huge thread about the company, I'm really surprised it didn't show in SEARCH.

..but, anyway, I've used them, we generally all recommend the company.

..and I'm not convinced that they do check..but you do need to provide the name of a child and a school.


edit ..after trying this site's search I see the problem, it doesn't seem to allow specific searches, ie "software for students" should search for that specific string, instead it searches for all 3 individual words, returning a lot of irrelevant results.
Dropping into advanced search, and searching titles only returns this, which is better, but a bit of a faff

I've used them, the school/college etc has to be on the list, and the school gets a rebate for each order.
Software4students validate about 3% of their orders, according to the FAQ.
