TAx code advice

Hi All....have just discovered that my tax code of 550L for this year is incorrect and should have been 660L since April. What does this mean?. Do I owe them or do they owe me....and approximately how much!.
Thanks xxx

They owe you. Call HMRC on next week and ask them to reissue your correct tax code to your employer and once it is operated you should get a refund in your pay.

You should have received a letter from the Inland Revenue with your tax coding and how it was worked out. If you have any benefits in kind (private medical, car etc) or underpayments then this can reduce your allowance
