I thinx it is rather sad that people dont post because they dont get thanx. The purpose of this site is to show bargains ..not get thanxed.I used to click thanx regularly ,but now I just do it if I purchase the item..and I am afraid I am one of those who steer clear of the button when people ask you to say thanx...
plewase press thanx if this comment helped you[or I will sulk]

couldn't agree more if people only post to big themselfs up personally rather they didnt bother i would rather not know there info after all this thread isn't life and death i miss something i miss something oh well!

oh and in the intrest for funny guy i can't have you sulking can i? lol

    so thanxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx :D

p.s. message for those people that want thanks either do it or don't. i will not be pressing the thanks button for you but guess i'm just really selfish when it comes to glory hounds :rotfl:

for those that do work without asking for thanks i think you will find it is a normal given just not really said but people know if there appriecated the view counter would always tell them! going on every thread and thanking everyone makes it rather pointless excercise and really becomes more meaningless everytime someone presses the button to the point when someone comes on moaning it really just puts peoples annoyance levels up and so the answer becomes quite clear if you don't like it you don't have to visit here anymore i for one think you have a choice to make and i know what i would like you to decide as i have just wasted 10 mins of my life for you :)

Went to get Daily Star and is now 50p not 40p! Dont know if any other ones have gone up as well.

Thanks for this, they somehow managed to sneak this in :( without any prior notification.

Even Smith News (a wholesaler that supplies newsagents) didn't update their information on prices for it until today.

Mind you they have only just updated the price for the Daily Express - saying it will be 45p from Monday 11th - DESPITE it being 45p since LAST MONDAY !! :rotfl:

I feel rather embarrassed that I got 50 thanks just for highlighting people's bad manners.
To Quoia, Nudge, Barney Dog, Frugal Rock and any other regular posters, I tried guys, but todays thread was viewed 2168 times and the most thanks clicked was 82!
It just makes me wonder how these people who grudge a wee thanks so much, behave in every day life.

    FiFi :o
If you find any post helpful, please click the thanks button! :T

I click thanks if it's useful for me. I thought that was the idea - to show how useful, generally, a post is, to give other readers some idea of its value. If we all click merrily on everything we read, it devalues the thanks button.

It is the point- entirly the point- to say thanks when something is useful.

Its not about "glory hounds" (aimed at post by Basil a few above) its about feedback- if you post offer after offer and no one says anything or clicks thanks, you begin to assume what you posted was pointless, you stop posting. If you don't get some sort of reaction your left to do the guess work and assume no one wants what you posted. Views mean nothing, someone could have come to view and decided the post was worthless, thats what I assume anyway.

I think that's what I meant. If it's useful, click thanks. If it's not - DON'T. otherwise a post might get 500 thanks, but only actually have been useful to 20 people. That skews a reader's opinion of that post and the information within.
