Door sash 3 and 5 lever locks same size?

We have a 3 lever sash lock, the lock is getting a little difficult to turn with the key often not engaging, and we figure it would be a good idea to get a 5 lever lock anyway - particularly as not long ago we got insurance and put down we had a 5 lever as we thought that's what it was at the time.
Anyway, was looking at these http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Safety+Security/Locks/BS+High+Security+5+Lever+Sashlock+64mm+Brass/d200/sd2611/p27294 and it seems they all come in two general sizes, 64mm and 76mm. How can I tell the size of my existing one and is it likely to be a case of unscrewing the handles each side, unscrewing the screws on the end of the door and doing the reverse with the new one?
Would like to save on the cost of a locksmith if possible. Many thanks in advance.

That'll be 2 1/2 inches and 3 1/2 inches ..
the overall depth of the lock
if you look here #

You will see dimensions on the diagram ...in a chart below it ..take note of measurements "B"
So without taking it out ..it can be seen from the measurement, from the edge of the door to the centre of the handle will tell you weather it is 64mm or 76mm
So if measurement is 45mm its a 64mm lock
if measurement is 57mm its a 76mm lock
Traditionally though they are 2 1/2 inches and 3 1/2 inches locks
not sure if Dimension "C", though, case height may vary....if the locks very old.

I've come up with 50mm so will remove door handle to check properly tomorrow. It's closer to 45mm though.0

if the face plate of the lock is sunk in a bit ..you need to take this into consideration.
