Flyglobespan announce flights from Durham Tees Valley

Flyglobespan have announced four new destinations, Malaga, Alicante, Faro and Palma for Summer 2007. This will more than make up for the loss of BMI Baby who have announced they are pulling out from November.
One quandry. Want to book flights for Malaga for summer school holidays and am not sure whether to book with Flglobespan at a cost of £800 for a week for 6 of us in early August or wait for EasyJet to announce flights for summer from Newcastle. Any help would be appreciated i.e. what would EasyJet approx cost be if I booked first day of release?

£140 each is pretty good for that time. 1 thing though,Globespan INCLUDE hand luggage in your 20KG luggage allowance, although they did allow pooling of allowances when I used them in April, however that could change anytime .

A major benefit in flying with Globespan is that they allocate seating at check-in - unlike Easyjet and Ryanair. I find that absence of mad charging towards the plane as people make to get seats a major benefit!
