NPower unit rates for loyal customers :(
Just recieved the letter outlining the new rates.
Signed up with them on line in Dec 2005 which puts me on the Sign-On-Line 5 rates. Checking their web site the NEW sign on line customers benifit from MUCH cheaper rates.
Spent 25 mins holding on the phone to try to get the cheaper rates only to be told that the only way is to switch from nPower and hence lose the £60 annual discount then rejoin.
Is this the way to treat loyal customers. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Will be looking for a new supplier as soon as the year is up

Several posts about this.
They have taken a lesson from the Banks who have accounts with higher interest rates that are only available to new customers.0
