Hi, I have completed on my house today.
The vendors have taken off bathroom cabinets (unit under the sink) and left bare pipes. Plus there are holes all over the place where there have removed morrors etc.
On the fictures and fitting form it says that if you remove items from the walls the walls should be made good.
Can I take them to the small claims court. The were a pain throughout. They have taken everything in site and left the place filthy. I know I cant do anything about it being dirty but it is so dissapointing that all the walls are now so bad.
Can I take them to the small claims court or get them to make the 'make good ' to the walls Thanks for any help

You could but it's not worth it. Houses never look as good empty when you move in as they did fully furnished. Even if there are no holes where pictures are removed, the paint behind the ex-pictures may be faded and look different to the rest oif the wall.
A new house always needs work. Get out some polyfiller, some paint, and a paintbrush. Oh, and a can of best bitter.
Relax. You have a new home where you'll live for the next 3....5....10 years. Take your time, make it look nice, the way you want it. and enjoy.0 -

Don't waste your energy and time on them any more. You've bought the house. They were ruddy pains to deal with, but you had to have them in your life to do the deal. From now on, don't give them another second of your life. Set to this weekend, and as you give everything a thorough bleaching, rub down and scrub out, you can do the same metaphorically too. Let them be some-one else's misery.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0
