My boy is pretty intelligent and started talking a bit for the first time maybe 2 years ago, he is nearly 10 as well. Actually picked up a Harry Potter this week and seems to be reading it. Amazing lol
Not Asperger's though. Bog standard severe autism.0 -

Xxx
Of course we love him and actually he is better value than his younger bro & sis at the mo, they are truly terrible brats lol
Of course you can't compare & contrast, but autism does seem to take family relationships to a different level.0 -
I've just added 3 more to my basket in case others don't get theirs. So if they turn up I'll give you first refusal - the only thing I'd ask is that you cover the P&P, as I don't have much spare cash at the moment!

How kind! I wish the world was full of KiKis! You will get goodness back to you for doing good. That's always my belief anyway. Good luck!:j"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0 -
what area are you from?
Brighton and Hove. And they're still selling for 1p!
I can change my order up to 0414 tomorrow morning, so when I get up I'll check the site for price, see what it says.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -

Taking my 10 year old shopping is just a nightmare. Not just his behaviour but the way other people react to him. I now have everything delivered because at the moment going out is a big no no. No Aspergers for me either - just standard autism but we work on it and everything he does is getting better. There's a fab Facebook group if anyone wants to join. Lots of help and adults with autism who can explain some things that my boy can't.
