I have nearly a full box of Horlicks, sadly it has solidified into a hard lump. Apart from hacking bits off it...have any of you other clever people had any success in returning it back to its former powdered glory? I would hate to have to throw it away.
Thanks in advance Bam x

Any idea how to prevent Horlicks/Boost from getting hard ?:mad:0

I don't think you can do anything with it when it goes like that.
It won't even dissolve properly after its gone hard.0 -
When the coffee mate did that I put in the freezer for a day. When it came out it was easier to break up... still a bit lumpy but it was useable...June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

as its gone hard because maybe a bit damp why not give it a bit of a warm in the microwave it may help then bash the blazes out of it with a rolling pin , or pestle and mortar0

IF (big IF) you can get it out of the container, a food processor or liquidiser would probably work well.
Personally, I tend to gouge bits out with a sharp knife - very dangerous! After a while I get peed off with doing that and chuck it in the bin.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0
