horlicks gone hard

went to use it last nite and hadn't had any for a couple of mths and it was rock hard.are there any tips that will salvage it? the jar's only a quarter full but don't want to waste it if i can help it

I just hacked at it with a knife and broke off as much each time as I needed until I couldn;t be bothered any more, It tasted fine but was hard work!
