Best mop?

Good afternoon all,

I will shortly be moving into the BF's house and he currently has a tiled hallway, we will be extending the tiles into the kitchen when we re-do (hopefully next year).

I have lino in my kitchen at the moment and have a Lakeland floor wipe thing which I can take off and wash but might not be suitable for a whole hallway and kitchen that are in need of a good clean and are high traffic areas. This is the thingie I have:

I have been eyeing up these JML mops, can anyone tell me if they are any good?

i'd give the one you have a go first and see if you need to replace it or if it manages ok

Good point, I shall take it over tonight and give the hallway a good clean ... why is it boys don't notice grime?

lol my hubby does, i have relinquished cleaning the bathroom to him as he thinks i don't do it right

Please dont waste you cash on the JML one. My mum bought one, (its sitting in my bathroom) SHe passed it to me because she couldnt ring it out, Its the worst mop I have ever used.

It will before long find its way to the local tip, unless I can palm it off on one of my visitors lol.

You are welcome to come and collect mine Icey, I would be glad to see the back of it hahaha. I wonder how many more of these JML things are lurking about in cupboards across the country

It's the most absorbent mop I've ever had, and brilliant. The only thing is that the mop head keeps on coming off, which is really annoying and I don't understand why they'd make something that badly made!
