Want to send fax via PC- Need advise please

Hi all, I currently work for home and need a way of sending faxes through my computer, as I dont have a printer or fax machine. I am running windows XP and are on broadband, is this possible or do I need to be linked to an outside line. any advice would be grateful. thanks:confused:

You still use the broadband for Internet.

The fax/modem will need to dial the number of the fax machine you're sending to, rather than the Internet. It's OK to leave both plugged in.
