how do i put a password on my pc so when it boots up no one can use it.
All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

you need to set it in BIOS , normally F2 as the PC boots (may call it setup)Ex forum ambassador

or you can just add one to the user account in windows, if you prefer0

Both BIOS & Windows passwords can be cracked with relative ease.
If its vital that the data on the computer does not fall into the wrong hands (Ie it has business data on it) you would be better served by encrypting the drive.
