Tax Credit Entitlement

I had to give up my work on the 30th June due to ill health, i am now in receipt of Employment and Support Allowance, i informed the tax credit people at the time but my payment has still remained the same of a whopping £10 odd a week, my husband has a full time job and earns around 21000 but we are now in financial difficulty and i contacted the tax people but computers are down so cant bring up my info but the boy said i should be at least getting the top rate of child tax credits. Anyone know, im also getting DLA. Any advice would be great as we are in a big hole and struggling to get out.

It would be pure speculation for anyone to say what you are entitled to without having all the facts.
