    get some quotes and see if she will pay for it without going through insurance, if not then claim from HER insurance not yours.

    Thanks for all your help.I did get a quote of £80-£90 for a respray which is pretty good IMO but dont think she will pay up as the whole passenger side of her car needs a respray.I do feel sorry for the lady as she is getting on (old ish) but i dont want to foot the bill for the respray when it wasnt my fault and my car is my pride and joy
