She's got a way about her, I think it's called that, it's OHs suggestion. We don't really have an our song and it was one of his better suggestions!
Isn't that Rod Stewart song about his football club?
:T indeed, Celtic! OH is Irish and Celtic season ticket holder, but I love them too now and we are both huge rod Stewart fans so it's our sing! His wee kiddies love Celtic and rod too so they will come on and join us for last bit too, bringing together the family:beer:0 -
Mrs Moore To Be,
I love Al Green, Lets Stay Together - I think it's got a flirty tune, and I think the words are so fitting and perfect! Great choice!

We went to see him in concert earlier this year and he kicks signed footballs into the crowd while he sings this. It's a great song, I like the suggestion of changing a few words so that it's more suitable, though I doubt many people listens to the words that closelyBanburyBride wrote: »:T indeed, Celtic! Ours was "Sea of Love", Robert Plant & the Honeydrippers -
Do you remember when we met, that's the night I knew you were my pet,
I want to tell you how much I love you....
....Come with me, my love, to the sea, the sea of love
I want to tell you, how much I love you
I love the song, DH is a mad fan. We did a slow jive (after several dance lessons).0 -

I plan to make up a playlist for throughout the meal that I can slip all the songs that I want and he doesnt on to, so I still get them in the wedding! I may put on some of his favs too, if I am feeling generous!:rotfl:
However, for our first dance, we are having Shine, by Take That. I am a big TT fan, and the lyrics apply to us too - I was in quite a dark place when I met H2B, and he really helped pull me through, and we listened to that song loads! (he isnt a huge fan mind, but bless him, it was his suggesttion, and who was I to turn down TT?!lol!!
I have exactly the same problem! i love it and think its perfect but h2b doesnt like her at all!!

I've been meaning to get people's opinions on this actually...
We got together in February 2002. I was 16, and number 1 in the charts was Enrique Iglesias, Hero.
Therefore that has kind of always been our song... but is it too cheesy???
I love LOVE LOVE cheesy music, but even I'm a bit concerned!!!
It's either that or Hungry by Kosheen, which was playing in OH's car when we first kissed!!!First date 10.2.2002
Engaged 18.8.2010
Wedding 9.4.2012
Baby #1 due 26.2.2014 :j0 -
we are having bruno mars - Just The Way You Are but by this guy - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsL1eKJv7Qo i actually hate bruno mars singing it, but we ( as usual) heard it way before it was released and we loved the lyrics but not bruno mars singing it.0

Not as bad as my OH suggesting "smack my b!t(h up" or tenatious D "F*** her gently"
Thats brilliant! Made me laugh when i read that. I thought my OH was bad!
Just spent 3 hours searching through songs for our first dance.
We both work away at sea and see each other about half the year. We'd like a song that means something to us rather than just picking a random song (which is becoming a tempting option!)
Considering:
Michael buble - home
David Gray - sail away
Somewhere beyond the sea - bobby darin
Just heard Katie Melua - Nine million bicycles and loved that too.
Does anyone else have any suggestions?:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -

Brilliant :rotfl::rotfl:
My OH has what he calls 'my song' as his ringtone when I call him - it's 'Psycho Girlfriend' but I've told him it has to go once I become wife!
We're going to have a song that OH wrote and recorded for me - I also want to have it playing while we sign register0
